HOMEBUYER PROTECTION
- The protection takes effect on the signature date of the notarized deed of sale and applies for a 12-month period.
- The appliances, systems and equipment located within the perimeter of the main building and annexed heated garage and the heat pump, even it if is located outside of the said perimeter, are covered by this protection up to a maximum of $1,000 per claim.
- A deductible of $100 per claim applies. (Conditions apply)
This protection also provides access to a free legal assistance service for 12 months.
HOMEOWNER PROTECTION
- Homeowner Protection protects the seller against the promisor-buyers failure to conclude the sale.
- Once all the conditions of the promise to purchase are met, except for the signing of the deed of sale, in the event that the promisor-buyers are late following up on or withdraw from the promise to purchase, the eligible beneficiaries will be reimbursed for reasonable losses, disbursements and temporary living expenses. The death or total disability of one of the promisor-buyers after all conditions have been met, except for the signing of the deed of sale, will be considered to be a withdrawal that makes the selling-owners eligible for Homeowner Protection.
This protection also provides access to a free legal assistance service for 12 months.
